It's always great when a company indirectly confirms a previously reported price point, and its no different today.
Motorola has announced a contest which allows users to win a Moto 360 smartwatch by sending them a message through a messaging service by the name of "Yo". I had previously installed this app and while it did do only one thing, it sure did it well.
However under the Prizes section, Motorola has listed the Average Retail Value as $249 USD; no more, no less. This was the same price leaked by Best Buy last week and it may very well be the actual retail price for the watch when it officially launches next week.
The Motorola event is scheduled for September 4th and will also include the launch of the Moto X+1 smartphone.
