Sony also had a bit of news — albeit expected — to share at IFA last night with the unveiling of their latest flagship Xperia Z3 and true mini-me Z3 Compact smartphones and we've received word that both will be hitting the carriers hard at some point in future.
The specifics haven't been confirmed as of yet but Sony has confirmed the Xperia Z3 will be available on all of Australia's four major carriers, that being Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and Virgin Mobile while the Z3 Compact will launch on Telstra and Optus, just as the Z1 Compact did before it though we've been advised this is where things stand with the Z3 Compact at this stage.
