Sony Mobile CEO states that the company isn’t selling or leaving

Sony has had some rough patches when it comes to its mobile division, but the company has plenty of perseverance. The CEO of Sony Mobile, Hiroki Totoki, recently gave an interview in which he stated that Sony "will never ever sell or exit from the current mobile business." That's a bold statement to make considering that Sony doesn't have a foothold in the North American mobile market and has consistently misstepped when creating devices.

Totoki talked more in the interview, often referring to strong competition but as well as focusing on what he believes will be the company's turnaround. Sony Mobile is reportedly doing a lot of streamlining and reorganizing at the moment, which Totoki believes will lead to a strong 2016. It's hard to say if that plan will work, but we'll be sure to keep our eyes on Sony Mobile in 2016.

In the meantime, it doesn't look like Sony Mobile is going anywhere, regardless of rumors about the company being put up for sale. If you want to read more of Totoki's interview with Arabian Business, follow the source link below.
