Google's messaging application — no, not Hangouts, Messenger — has received an update today that adds two new features. Something fun, with stickers, and something useful, with location sharing.
Google Messenger's stickers are cute, animated and are perfect for sharing your emotions when emoji simply won't do. Sent as MMS, there are a ton of options available by clicking the attachment button and swiping up to view more.
Location sharing is also available via the attachments button that, once selected, sends as an MMS message with a link to the location viewable on Google Maps.
The update should be available soon if it's not already showing up in Google Play now. Now if only Google would pay Hangouts a little more attention. Maybe someday.
