And so it begins. According to a update schedule posted over on Telus, we now have an ETA for Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6. According to the document, both devices will begin receiving Marshmallow on October 5, just a week after the upcoming Nexus announcement.
Marshmallow, in case you're unaware, is the next major update for Android. Visually, Google kept things fairly similar (minus the new app drawer) but there are a ton of changes below the surface including better battery management and app data back up!
Hopefully this time table is accurate as I'm itching to get me some Marshmallow!
