Although Blackberry has done a good job keeping up with their security updates on their Andorid powered Priv, things might not be so speedy when it comes to their larger software updates. During a presentation at CES, Blackberry Executive Ron Louks stated that news regarding the Marshmallow update for the Priv would be revealed sometime in the Q1. However, he wouldn't provide any specific details which, to me, means the news probably won't hit till later in Q1.
While Blackberry isn't super far behind right now, many of the other major manufacturers are beginning to roll out their Marshmallow updates (or will begin shortly) so Blackberry could really start falling behind really quickly here.
