Verizon is rolling out an update for the DROID DNA device built by HTC that includes a couple security related items. One of the fixes included in the update is a collection of patches addressing OpenSSL security. The other security fix addresses a "device root vulnerability."
Besides the security issues addressed, Verizon includes improvements to their implementation of Softcard and Miracast functionality. Verizon also threw in some updates for the WiFi connection status indicator and the battery indicator.
