I guess I was slightly wrong when it came to properly stating the announcement date of the Galaxy Note 4.
Korean news outlet The Korean Times is reporting Samsung's plans to unveil its next major flagship phablet not on IFA 2014, but two days earlier on September 3rd. They are also reporting the phone will still come with a 5.7-inch display but will also include a metal frame, similar to the Galaxy Alpha.
As for the curved screen we've been reporting, it will indeed be present but only on a different model not intended for the mass market. The UV sensor was also mentioned and it will indeed be a part of the S-Health app on the phone. It was unfortunate nothing was said on battery optimizations/capacity but it should be at least as big as the Note 3 which had a 3200mAH battery.
Specs for the phone include a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED QHD display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC (North America variant at least), 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage with SD card expansion, a UV sensor and a 16MP rear camera with full OIS.
