It's been more than a year since LG revealed its flexible and "self-healing" smartphone in October 2013, but the wait may soon be finally over.
A new #Snapdragon 800 powered smartphone is launching next week at @intlCES – here's a first look. http://pic.twitter.com/6Sx8wQQsdE

Qualcomm has tweeted a teaser for a smartphone running the Snapdragon 800 SoC, and judging by the material and supposed rear facing buttons, it has to be from LG. We reported about a month ago that LG would be refreshing the G Flex during CES 2015 so the teaser from Qualcomm makes sense and essentially confirms the rumours. It is expected to come with improved self-healing capabilities, a smaller form factor and a P-OLED screen.
The device is also expected to be shipping with LG's newest skin on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
January 6th just can't come soon enough.
