On a day where we saw three new devices come to Canada, Telus boarded the WABAC Machine to bring the LG G3 to their line up, a device that launched over a year ago! It's been a while since it launched so here's a refresher of the specs:
- 5.5″ True HD-IPS+ LCD with QHD Resolution (2560×1440)
- 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 Processor
- Adreno 330 GPU
- 32GB Internal Storage
- 3GB RAM
- microSD Card Slot
- 13MP Camera with Laser Beam Auto-Focus, OIS+ and Dual Tone Flash
- 2.1MP Front Facing Camera
- 3000 mAh Battery
- Android 4.4.2
Thankfully Telus didn't bring the original price of $600 back with them and instead they are offering the LG G3 for a pretty decent $450. If you opt for a contract you can get the device for $100 which is a whopping $80 more than Rogers or Bell. While I kind of understand that Telus is aiming this at the mid-range market, it's still a puzzling move.
