LG G2 mini coming to Sprint in the future

The LG G2 is a pretty awesome device if you're a fan of big phones. There a lot of people that prefer smaller handsets, though, and the smartphone industry has not been very accommodating to them lately. Most "mini" devices have been underpowered, mid-range smartphones with a shell that happens to look like the full-size version, which isn't exactly a flagship device.

The LG G2 mini continues this trend with a 4.7-inch IPS display at a resolution of 960×540. You'd think that with technology moving as quickly as it is, the G2 mini would have at least a 720p display. Also included with the G2 mini is a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor or a Tegra 4i chip, depending on the region, either an 8-megapixel or 13-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM, a 2,440 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. And according to @evleaks, this device is heading to Sprint.

To me, the LG G2 mini is a disappointment, and I think that most Sprint customers shouldn't look forward to it. It's not a bad device — unless LG happens to screw it up somehow — but it's really not the mini flagship that its name suggests that it is. Still, it could be a good fit for some people. Will any of you be purchasing it? Leave a comment!
