In conjunction with our national Nigerian distributor, Satson Global Network, Magic South Africa brought our End-to-End Roadshow to the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.
Aimed at expanding Magic's partner and reseller network in Nigeria, the May 22nd event provided the opportunity for Magic to introduce our software and professional services solution portfolio to local Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and CRM and ERP solution providers. The large audience was dominated by Executive and Senior Technical staff and featured an especially strong showing from SAP ecosystem partners operating in the SAP Business One space. We could tell that attending resellers were serious in their interest as many even brought customers along to educate them about Magic's solutions.
Anwar Shaik, Chief Technical Officer for Magic Software South Africa, presented the Magic xpi Integration Platform, Magic xpa Application Development Platform, and Magic's End-to-End Enterprise Mobility Solution including Mobile Device Management and mobility professional services and described how they can fulfill needs of a variety of industry sectors.
"Magic's code-free enterprise-grade solutions can provide tremendous benefits to Nigerian organizations that want to create and integrate multi-platform applications quickly to increase efficiencies while minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO)," says Shakirudeen Lasisi, Executive Director of Satson. "With Nigeria quickly becoming a technology and economic hub in Africa, we foresee a strong demand for Magic Software's rapid and proven solutions."
Lasisi adds that since the event, demand has grown to such a point that Satson has already scheduled Magic training sessions for potential resellers in order to quickly skill-up and empower the channel. Training is set to take place in July.
"The feedback, receptiveness and overall interest shown during the event was remarkable and has only cemented the view of Magic Software that West Africa has the potential to be a formidable contributor to Magic Software's overall success," added Daniel Hall, Country Manager of Magic South Africa.
