In yet another leak, the HTC One M9+ has made an appearance, this time with some official-looking press images. The images confirm what we already know about the design of the device. It will be constructed of aluminum and feature a Duo Camera setup on the back with the main camera clocking in at 20 megapixels. The front of the device remains the same, but with the addition of a fingerprint scanner beneath the screen. To fit it in, HTC split the bottom speaker into two parts, flanking the oblong fingerprint scanner.
This leak carries a different color scheme than the last one, with a charcoal base and gold accents that make it look mighty fine. Specs-wise, the rumors are pointing towards a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek processor, 5-inch QHD (2560×1440) display and 3GB RAM, improving upon the One M9. So far, the device seems to be headed to China, with no word on an international release. HTC China is holding an event on April 8 that should reveal more about the One M9+.
