On July 27, OnePlus is going to take advantage of virtual reality and officially announce the OnePlus 2. They've been building up to the big day, but one of the biggest surprises the company had in store may have just been outed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG).
An entry from OnePlus has been found within the group's database, and considering there's not that much time between now and the unveiling of the new flagship, it's likely that the entry is for the OnePlus 2. The entry showing up in the database isn't surprising by itself, but what it outlines is. It would appear that OnePlus has three different variants of the OnePlus 2 headed down the pipe, as indicated by separate model numbers: A2001, A2003, and A2005.
For reference, the original OnePlus had a model number of A0001.
Unfortunately, the entry doesn't provide any details on just what those three devices might offer, or what will make them different. The easiest guess would be models with different storage capacities. Are you looking forward to the OnePlus 2?
