SwiftKey is getting an update today, and it'll make you feel very ๐ if you're into emoji. And really, who isn't these days? Fans of full Marshmallow support or multiple currency options will also experience a distinct ๐ sensation. Then there are all the small tweaks and bug fixes, which are pretty ๐.
Excessive emoji aside, here's the changelog for the latest SwiftKey update.
New
- Support for new emoji (for devices on Android 6.0.1)
- Support for Android Marshmallow
- You can now input currency for: Russia, Argentina, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Slovakia, Germany, Canada & Australia
- Improvements to typing behaviour when backspacing
Fixed
- Autospace now works with Japanese enabled
- Evernote personalization won't cause repeated listing in settings
- We no longer autocorrect if you start typing a URL at the start of a message or capitalise the first "w"
The new emoji are only for those devices running Android 6.0.1, which is when Google added them in response to taco-based complaints.
