After multiple beta firmwares and programs, Sony is now officially rolling out its Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OTA to the Xperia Z2, Z3 and Z3 Compact series.
The update contains all of the features implemented by Google including the revamped per-app permission system and Doze (which apparently replaces Sony's "Stamina Mode" battery saving software). As for Sony-specific changes, this update now sports the new Camera 2.0 UI.
The OTA may take up to two weeks to roll out to your device, but if you're impatient like me, you'll need to flash the .FTF file. Details are provided in the source link below.
