Yesterday Lenovo announced a new flagship by the name of the Zuk Z2 Pro (look it up, it's pretty impressive). While that particular phone won't be coming our way, we may have an announcement date for a phone/phones that should be making their way to Canada.
At the Zuk Z2 Pro event, Lenovo's CEO Yang Yuanqing made it known that they will be unveiling a new Motorola device on June 9. Given that the Moto G4 and G4 Plus have been making their way around the web lately, those seem like likely candidates for the June 9 announcement. The 3rd Gen Moto G was also announced in July of 2015 so the time frame is about right as well.
We don't know too much about the new Moto G's yet but one thing that seems pretty concrete at this point is that they will include fingerprint readers, a first for a Moto device. If June is indeed the announcement date, expect many more leaks as we approach the date.
