BLU has announced the Energy XL, its new flagship device that is being sold unlocked in the United States. Its biggest selling point is its 5,000mAh battery, a battery size usually reserved for 7-inch tablets. It's huge and promises three days of regular use and 30 days of standby on a single charge.
The device also features some fairly nice specs, including an aluminum body, 64GB of memory, USB Type-C with 9V/2A quick charging, a quick fingerprint reader, and a small 8.4mm frame. At the $300 price point, it's definitely an impressive device. Here is a full list of specifications:

The device seems awesome for the price, especially with features like the Type-C port and the fingerprint reader. It'll work on any GSM carrier in the US, so it's great for living the off-contract life. It's just unfortunate that it's launching with Lollipop when Android Nougat is right around the corner, ready to replace Marshmallow. How many of you are planning to pick it up? Leave a comment!
