It's been a while since Lenovo announced the Motorola Moto Z and Moto Z Force and their Verizon-branded variants, the Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid. But for those who've wanted to buy the new handsets and their Moto Mods accessories, the wait is almost over.
Verizon Wireless has officially announced that both the Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid will launch on Thursday, July 28. The Moto Z Droid will cost $624 outright, or $26 per month with an installment plan. The Moto Z Force Droid will be offered for $720, or $30 per month on an installment plan. Verizon has opened pre-orders for both phones today.
Verizon is also announcing a trade-in offer, giving up to $300 for a working phone that's also in good condition cosmetically, which can certainly help off-set the cost of getting a brand new phone.
We reviewed the new Moto Z and Moto Z Force Droid, and you can check that out right here.
It's also worth noting that Verizon has a promotion going on right now where the purchase of a Moto Mod will get you 40% off the purchase of any additional Mods at the same time. This is a quick way and cheap way to pick up more than one Mod if you're looking for a portable boombox or boost to battery life. The Mods officially go on sale July 28 as well. Here are the Mods that will be available on July 28:
