Walmart Pay is now available nationwide

Walmart Pay was first announced at the tail-end of 2015, but it took Walmart a few months to get the ball rolling. Since its initial rollout in May of this year, though, it's quickly expanded to multiple states across the country.

Now Walmart has announced that the rollout is complete and that the Walmart Pay is now available nationwide. That means if you want to use Walmart Pay, you can find it in the more than 4,600 Walmart stores across the country.

To use Walmart Pay, you'll need to install the Walmart app on your phone and then link your credit or debit card to a Walmart account. You can use pre-paid and gift cards, too. Once you're at the checkout register, a QR code will be displayed on the screen, which you'll scan using your phone's camera. Walmart will offer you in-app receipts after each purchase.
