Instead of dragging out an announcement of their next Chromebook, and just as we started to get our hands on leaked pictures and specs — Samsung have announced the Chromebook 2 for the US market.
To be available in both 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch models, these ARM-based Chromebooks serve as a replacement to the Series 3 ARM Chromebook Samsung currently offer over here. They both pack upgraded Exynos 5 Octa chips, moving from the Exynos 5 Dual which featured in the previous Chromebook and the Nexus 10.
