Lenovo has announced three new entries into its Yoga Tab 3 Android tablet family that are touted as the ultimate video tablets. And they aren't kidding.
The three new tablets are the Yoga Tab 3 8-inch, 10-inch and Yoga Tab 3 Pro. The 8-inch and 10-inch tablets are similar, both sporting a 1280×800 display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB expandable storage, an 8-megapixel camera and Android 5.1. The 8-inch tablet has a 6200mAh battery, while the 10-inch has an 8400mAh battery. They both also come with a built-in stand, Dolby Atmos front-facing sound and the camera swivels.
The Yoga Tab 3 Pro is where things get more interesting. It has a 10-inch Quad HD display, 2.24GHz Intel Atom processor, 4 (!) front-fracing JBL Dolby speakers, 2GB of RAM, up to 32GB expandable storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, Android 5.1, a 10200mAh battery and a built-in 70-inch projector.
As far as availability goes, "the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 series will be unveiled during IFA 2015 in Berlin. The Yoga Tab 3 8-inch retails at US$169 from 1 October 2015, Yoga Tab 3 10-inch at US$199 from 1 November 2015 and Yoga Tab 3 Pro at US$499 from November 2015, available at all Lenovo Retail Partners."
