When it first launched as a successor to the Nexus 4, the 2013 Nexus 5 from LG took everything that made the Nexus 4's affordable price tag and amped it up, considerably. The original Nexus 5 brought truly flagship specs at a price-point unmatched by its competitors. For that it has gone down as a favourite amongst many for what the collaboration between LG and Google managed to accomplish in a product that's still more than able to hold its own with the latest Android Marshmallow update.
Given the success Google achieved with the Nexus 5's enticing price wasn't repeated the following year with the pricier Nexus 6, it's no wonder Google sought a return to form for the Nexus ...
