The majority of the major Android manufacturers committed themselves to providing monthly security updates to patch up exploits and holes. Google and Blackberry both released their monthly updates very early on in January and now the largest Android partner, Samsung, has their update ready to go.
Samsung didn't state which devices in particular would be receiving the update but they did say "major flagship models" would be part of the Security Maintenance Release. Based on past updates, this should include the S5, S6 collection, Note 4 and Note 5. No word on the exact date that this update will be rolling out but I'd expect it should be pretty soon.
