While smartphones have gotten away from bundling items inside the box, we have gotten used to a variety of extras being available for early buyers, and the LG G5 on Verizon is no exception. The one caveat is that eligibility for this offer requires that you pay using the monthly device payments option, but as long as you are ok with that, let's tell you what you've won.
The big ticket item is the LG 360 Cam that retails for $199 by itself. As a quick refresher, the 360 Cam has twin 13MP wide-angle cameras and can capture 2K video and 5.1 audio that is shareable to Google Street View and YouTube 360. I haven't gotten my hands on the 360 Cam yet, so I can't say whether it's really worth the $199 asking price, but as a free extra for the LG G5, I'm definitely on board.
The other two freebies are much more utilitarian: an extra LG G5 battery and a charging cradle. To be clear, the charging cradle is for the extra battery and isn't a wireless charging cradle.
All told, this is about $300 worth of extras to go with your LG G5, so a respectable haul.
If you want to take advantage of the offer, you do have to move quickly, as only pre-orders made from March 24th to March 31st are eligible for the promotion. You also have to register your submission by April 15th.
