The LG V10 is still a fairly new device, and somehow, Verizon managed to get the Marshmallow update rolling out before anyone else. The carrier has announced that the Android 6.0 update will begin rolling out tomorrow.
The update, which is software version VS99022A, will bring the full Marshmallow experience to your device. This includes Now on Tap, Doze mode, full app permission control, and a bunch of fixes that have made many phones quicker and smoother. It's definitely a great update.
We hope this is not a mistake on Verizon's part, and if it isn't, you should see it start the rollout tomorrow. You may not get it immediately, but check for the update in Settings > About phone > Software updates on March 24. Also make sure your battery is topped off and you have good signal (or WiFi if you don't want to waste data), you'll need it to install the update. Let us know when you get it!
