The replacement process for the recalled Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has finally begun. Samsung has announced that over 500,000 units have arrived in the US and are being shipped out to retailers for tomorrow.
Samsung also announced a notification that existing Note 7 owners will get every time they charge or power up their device if it's a recalled unit that hasn't been exchanged. This warning will urge them to power down their phones and exchange them, which is hard to ignore. This change will come with a software update.
If you still haven't exchanged your Note 7, tomorrow is the time to do it. Retailers should have a new Note 7 to exchange for your old one if you're there early enough.
