The folks over at iFixit already got their hands on the All New HTC One (M8) and did their usual teardown. Now the HTC One (M8) is one of the best phones in terms of quality, but there is a huge downside to that. It's the fact that a DIY repair is going to be very tough. The bottomline is that the higher the quality, the harder it is to do anything yourself. It's one of the biggest reasons why Samsung continues to use lesser quality materials. It might not feel as great in the hand, but Samsung's devices are more durable and easier to repair.
Anyways, going back to iFixit's work, they have given a repairability score of 2 out of 10 for the HTC One (M8). That is pretty dreadful so make sure you protect that bad boy as much as you can.
