Kyocera has announced today that their IP57 certified waterproof, shock-proof, and drop-proof phone, Hydro Life, will be available at Wal-Mart for T-Mobile customers on August 8th. The device will sell for just $124.99 (plus fees) and MetroPCS will also launch the Hydro Life on August 29.
The Hydro Life features a durable design with a 4.5-inch impact-resistant IPS qHD touchscreen, reinforced housing and non-slip finish — powered by a 2000 mAh battery. It has a rear-facing 5MP camera, 2MP front-facer and features Wi-Fi calling on T-Mobile.
