It's no secret that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will officially be announced next month, but Samsung has now officially confirmed (via press a schedule) that their next UNPACKED event will be held on September 3rd, just two days before IFA. Samsung is expected to take the stage at 2PM in Berlin, where it will undoubtedly announce the Note 4, as well as a few other devices like the rumored Gear VR or perhaps even a Gear 3 smartwatch.
As for what to expect from the Note 4? While we've heard a lot about the phone's possible specs through leaks, one thing we haven't seen is leaked photographic evidence of what the phone might look like. While some rumors suggest the phone might get a touch of metal in at least one of its variants, others say the metal treatment is reserved for the Galaxy Alpha.
The Note 4 is also expected to offer some new special features and technology, like an ultraviolet sensor and perhaps even a curved display in at least one of its models. The phone is also expected to be offered in both Exynos (5433) and Snapdragon (805) flavors, and will reportedly be the first Samsung handset to offer a QHD display. For more details on what to possibly expect from the handset, be sure to check out our rumor roundup.
So how about it, excited yet? We sure are, and look forward to bringing you the official details live at IFA next month!
