Earlier today, Google unveiled the first update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it features a set of brand new emojis, the latest December security patch and the return of Do Not Disturb from Android Lollipop.
Now the company has released several Android 6.0.1 factory images for all of its currently supported Nexus devices, including the Nexus Player, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9, Nexus 5X and the 6P. These images are extremely useful if you want to have the update right now or if you want to wipe your phone to stock.
Instructions on how to flash the images are provided on the page but if manually flashing images isn't for you, the OTA should be just around the corner.
