Many were hoping for a successor to the Nexus 7 (2013) this year, but it just didn't happen. Google has yet to release a new Android tablet after releasing their HTC-made Nexus 9 last year. However we may have much better luck next year.
According to a post on Weibo, Huawei is considering on making the upcoming Nexus 7 (2016) tablet as Google is looking forward to releasing their next budget tablet. This is very interesting considering Huawei also makes the premium Nexus 6P smartphone.
More details are expected to surface just like every other device so stay tuned for more.
