Sprint CEO says most Galaxy Note 7 owners staying with Samsung

Samsung has a huge problem on its hands with the Galaxy Note 7. Not only has the company had to go through two recalls that involved special shipping boxes, but the damage to its reputation and finances is significant. However, this whole situation may not be so bad.

Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure says that most Galaxy Note 7 owners are switching to the Galaxy S7. This isn't hard to believe, since Samsung is offering a $100 credit if you get a Galaxy as a replacement for the Note 7, but it does mean that people aren't entirely losing faith in Samsung.

We know that some of you want Samsung to fall after this, but the everyday person may not. It looks likely that Samsung will recover in the long run. Maybe this will mean some amazing devices that don't explode in the future.
