A couple of months after making its debut at MWC, Sony's Xperia XA1 is now available for pre-order. The Sony Xperia XA1 can be pre-ordered from Amazon and Best Buy ahead of its May 1 launch date. Pricing is set at $299, and the XA1 is available in black, white, pink, and gold color options. Sony's Xperia XA1 is being sold unlocked, and it's compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. It includes support for LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 28, 29, and 66.
As a refresher, the Xperia XA1 runs Android 7.0 Nougat on a 5-inch 1280×720 display. It's powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6757 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 2300mAh battery, offers 32GB of storage and a microSD slot, and charges over USB-C. Around back there's a 23-megapixel camera, and the front of the phone is home to an 8-megapixel camera for all of your selfie needs. Sony is also including a feature called Xperia Actions that can automatically perform certain tasks for you. For example, a "Good night" can be set to turn on Do Not Disturb mode, dim the screen, and enable the blue light filter during a set period of time.
