LG V20 hitting Sprint on October 28

Autumn is here and it's bringing plenty of new smartphones with it. One recent launch that garnered attention is that of the LG V20, which packs in dual displays and dual rear cameras. Availability details were a little vague initially, with only a Korean rollout getting an official date. But US launch details are starting to come out, and Sprint has now announced that it will carry the LG V20 beginning on October 28.

As a specs recap, LG has outfitted the V20 with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 3200mAh battery and Android 7.0 Nougat. Of course, the distinctive features are the dual displays, with the main being a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 display. On top of that is a small secondary display that can be used for notifications, app shortcuts and more. On the back of the device is a dual-camera set-up with a 16-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, both of which are paired with Hybrid Autofocus.

Sprint hasn't disclosed pricing yet, but the company is offering a $200 trade-in for eligible devices plus a free pair of Bang & Olufsen H3 headphones. Pre-orders begin on October 21, with units shipping on October 28, when widespread availability will hit.
