Samsung Galaxy Note8’s Most Important Upgrade Will Be the “Dual Camera”

If you're an Apple fan, you're probably familiar with the name Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo is a well-known Apple analyst who over the years accurately predicted a lot of features of yet to be released iPhone modes. Now it seems, Kuo has taken an interest in Samsung.

In a recent note to investors, fueled by what appears to be the preliminary success of the Galaxy S8, he reveals his enthusiasms about the upcoming Galaxy Note8.  He also shared a few interesting details about Samsung's next-gen flagship phablet.

Kuo comes to confirms previous leaks by saying that the Galaxy Note8 will be the first Samsung device to take advantage of a dual camera. Actually he calls it the "most important upgrade" of the device.

Samsung hasn't focused on the photographic aspect much with the Galaxy S8, but if Kuo is to be believed things will change greatly when it comes to the Note8. The analysts says the phone will feature a 13MP wide angle camera and a 12MP telephoto snapper on the back with 3x optical zoom. Both sensors will feature optical image stabilization and six-element lenses.

Kuo also corroborated information according to which the Note8 will feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2960 pixel resolution (QHD+ not 4K) and a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8995, depending on market.
