Though people in the US have been enjoying Android Pay for a long time now, Canadians haven't been so lucky. Thankfully, rumor has it that the mobile payment service is coming to Canada by May 31. The release of Android Pay in Canada follows the very recent expansion to Russia. It will allow you to pay wherever contactless payments are accepted, though bank support is a detail that remains to be released. It will work with "major credit and debit cards in Canada", but exactly which ones are unknown. With Apple's growing pains in getting Apple Pay to Canada, Android Pay support in Canada might start out a bit slow as support for various banks roll out. You'll need a device running KitKat 4.4 or later and NFC to use it. Who's excited for this rollout? Leave a comment! Android Match
