We all know that Motorola is gearing up to launch its premium Moto Z2 lineup which will probably include the standard Moto Z2, Moto Z2 Play and Moto Z2 Force. A bit of controversy was stirred around the Moto Z2 Play which according to recent rumours will be making a debut with a smaller battery than its predecessor, which was known for its lengthy life cycle. Sadly, it appears leaks are true, as Lenovo has confirmed the tidbit via a Tweet it posted in response to a user comment. A company representative notes the Moto Z2 Play has a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh batter, which is 200 mAh less than last year's model. Battery aside the phone should arrive with a 5.5-inch display with fullHD resolution and a Snapdragon 660 processor under the hood. A Chinese TENAA listing revealed 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage onboard, just like the Samsung Galaxy S8. The phone should also pack a main 12-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. While TENAA says the phone will rely on an even smaller 2,820 mAh battery, we now know this won't be the case.
