The company has just announced the availability of the high-end Xperia XZ Premium, which is coming to the US on June 12 for a wild cost of $799. The device is no slouch. It features a 5.5-inch 4K display, a Snapdragon 835, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage with a microSD slot, a 19MP camera with 960 FPS slow motion capability, a 13MP front camera, a 3,230mAh battery, IP68 water resistance, and Android 7.1. One thing it doesn't come with is a fingerprint sensor. Sony has not been including them in the US market, so buyers of this $800 flagship won't be getting something now featured on most budget phones. It's a huge shame, but some people may not care.
