The OnePlus 5T has been in the spotlight lately because of its recently unveiling, but today it's time for the OnePlus 3 and 3T to shine OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T are now being updated to Android 8.0 Oreo. It's rolling out as part of the OxygenOS 5.0 update, which is going out to a small group of users now and will be deployed more broodingly in the next few days. There are lots of other goodies in this update in addition to Oreo. There's picture-in-picture, a new Quick Settings design, the September 2017 security patches, notification dots, a new app folder design, and more. We've known for a few months now that the OnePlus 3 and 3T would receive an update to Oreo, but it's still exciting to see the update actually rolling out to users. Not only are these two phones some of the first non-Nexus and non-Pixel phones to get Oreo, but there are also some nice new features included in the OxygenOS 5.0 update for those OP3/OP3T owners to play with.
