Instagram is continuously working on tweaking the main feed for its users, for better or worse, and the latest change may fall into the latter category depending on your usage. TechCrunch revealed today that Instagram is going to start showing "recommended" posts in your main feed. Specifically, you will start to see "Recommended For You" on certain posts which will be populated based on posts liked by the accounts that you follow. It should also be noted that you can hide recommended posts, as an Instagram help page confirmed today. On Android, you'll be able to hit the small hamburger menu on a recommended post and then choose to hide it. Unfortunately, the recommended posts will only be hidden temporarily. The new "feature" is already present, so you will probably start seeing recommended posts in your feed soon. What do you think of the new addition?
