Back during Google I/O, Google unveiled a variety of new features and tweaks to the Google Assistant on Google Home, including what it calls Continued Conversation. Now Google is rolling Continued Conversation out to users. This feature it eliminates the need to say the "Ok Google" or "Hey Google" every time you speak to Google Assistant. Justsay something like "Hey, Google, what's the weather like today?" followed by "What about tomorrow?" or "Remind me to pick up the groceries later. Thanks!" and the digital assistant will follow along. This leans into Google's effort to make for a more natural conversation with Assistant, and eliminating the need to constantly say "Hey, Google" is a great addition. To make it work, though, you will need to head into the Settings app and then open Preferences → Continued Conversation and hit the toggle. Be aware that with Continued Conversation switched on, the Assistant will keep listening for eight seconds if no speech is detected. The LED lights on the Google Home will stay lit up while Assistant is listening. The new Continued Conversation feature is rolling out beginning today for Google Home owners in the United States.
