The LG G4 looks like the major competition for Samsung's Galaxy S6 line this summer, at least with the Android power users, retaining many of the features that Samsung eschewed with the Galaxy S6 this time around. LG has also managed to put together a solid launch schedule, with pre-orders already ongoing for many carriers and ship dates around the first week of June.
U.S. Cellular was still one of the holdouts for pre-order, but according to their official Twitter account that will end on May 29th (this Friday) with pre-sales available both in store and online. Still no word on a ship date, but with most carriers starting to ship next week it would stand to reason that U.S. Cellular won't be far behind.

If you are planning on picking up the G4 from U.S. Cellular (or almost anywhere) don't forget to capitalize on that free microSD card, battery and charging cradle. Purchases just need to be completed by June 21st to qualify.
I was thoroughly impressed with the Galaxy S6 in my time with it, but I'm not dismissing the LG G4 by any means. For Galaxy fans that cherished the removable battery and microSD slot, this is going to be a compelling package.
