For those that own Google's latest Nexus phone, you must have noticed that there wasn't an Android 5.1.1 rollout to the phone, unlike other Nexus devices like the Nexus 4, 5 and 7. This was due to carrier-specific changes allowing the phone to support WiFi calling for T-Mobile customers.
According to an internal Sprint document received by Android Police, the Nexus 6 will finally start receiving the 5.1.1 update next week on May 26th. It's likely that this would also result in Google releasing the factory image.
The update itself is nothing more than a bug fix update to improve performance and security.
