OnePlus has confirmed another feature of the upcoming OnePlus Two today and this one is definitely worth noting! OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Two will include the added security of a fingerprint reader. And not only are they including a fingerprint reader but according to them it's going to be "lightning quick," it's even faster than TouchID! OnePlus goes on to say that you will be able to store up to five fingerprint on the device which, to me, is a pretty fair number.
As to why now and not with the One, OnePlus explains that the technology just wasn't quite ready before and they didn't want to just jump on the bandwagon just for the sake of it. Now that the technology has advanced and has met their expectations, they're ready to introduce the added security measure to their devices. It's also a great move as Google has officially began supporting fingerprint readers with Android M. Now their phone will be able to take advantage one of the many advancements found in Android M.
We still got about another month to go before the unveil but the device is definitely shaping up pretty well so far.
