Sprint Direct 2 You setup service expands to New York, LA, San Francisco, and Denver

Starting today, Sprint customers in more locations will be able to have their new phone delivered to them and set up for free.

Sprint Direct 2 You is launching today in four new metropolitan areas: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Denver. The rollout includes several cities in those metro areas:

  • Los Angeles: Los Angeles, Anaheim, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Laguna Beach, Long Beach, Newport Beach, West Hollywood, Pasadena, San Pedro, and Santa Ana
  • New York: New York City as well as Newark, Jersey City, Edison, Elizabeth, and Paterson in New Jersey
  • San Francisco Bay Area: San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and Berkeley
  • Denver: Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, and Golden

Sprint also notes that its Direct 2 You service is going to expand even further in early July, hitting Dallas, Detroit, Tampa, and Washington D.C. More rollouts are planned throughout 2015.

Sprint's Direct 2 You service sounds pretty handy if you're a busy person that has difficulty carving time out of your schedule to go to a Sprint store. Not only does the service send a Sprint rep to your home, work, or wherever else, but it'll also have them set up your new phone and transfer your data to the new device. While some of us may prefer to do all of the setting up on our own, others that don't have the time or knowledge to do so may appreciate Sprint Direct 2 You.
