Every company claims that their phone is the fastest but a recent study by the iconic tech site Tom's Guide says that there can only be one winner and that winner is none other than the Galaxy S6.
In the study, the team pitted six of the latest and greatest phones against one another: the aforementioned S6, the iPhone 6, the M9, the G4, the Nexus 6 and the ZenFone 2. They then ran the devices through a series of tests including PDF load time, camera load time, gaming performance, video editing, Wi-Fi speed and various benchmarks. While the S6 wasn't the winner in each category, it did take 6 of 9 and never finished lower than third making it the overall winner.
While I'm sure many out there will still disagree with these findings, it's a pretty solid study and will possibly put some arguments to bed… until the next generation of phones comes around that is.
