Google officially debuted its video calling app, Duo, back at Google I/O conference earlier this year. And last week, Duo was officially released for Android and iOS users. Now Google CEO Sundar Pichai has some good news about the app to share.
Pichai tweeted out late last night that, after a week of availability, Duo has surpassed five million downloads on Android alone. Duo became the top free app in the Play Store just days after it was released, so perhaps its skyrocketing numbers are not that big of a surprise. Still, passing five million downloads in a week's time is surely impressive.

Have you downloaded and tried out Duo yet? If so, what are your thoughts about Google's new video calling app?
