Now that the official build of Android 7.0 Nougat is out, phone makers are receiving the latest code to start working on the final builds of Nougat for their devices.
HTC has taken to Twitter to confirm that the unlocked HTC 10 will be getting the update in Q4 2016. This means it could come in a few weeks or in more than three months. It's quite the range. The One M9 and One A9 as well as carrier versions of all of these devices will follow.
Unfortunately, HTC hasn't given any concrete dates, nor has the company mentioned any other older or lower end devices. Hopefully HTC expands on its plans after the 10 is on the latest version of Android.
