Lenovo-owned Motorola officially launched the Moto Z earlier this year, along with plenty of different MotoMods to attach to its back, but with one suspiciously missing at launch.
That is the camera MotoMod that appeared in earlier leaks, but didn't seem to make the cut for the official launch. Now, Moto G3 managed to get their hands on some photos that show the upcoming MotoMod, confirming that it still exists. The images reveal that the accessory is indeed a Hasselblad camera unit, with the logo in full sight, and that it will feature a 10X optical zoom.
Unfortunately, the images don't confirm any other details regarding the camera, like the megapixel count, but rumors suggest its quality could be similar to a mirrorless point-and-shoot.
As far as a release date is concerned, one possibility is the IFA trade show in Germany in early September. Hopefully the price for the Hasselblad camera MotoMod will be revealed at the same time.
